Marty attended the Dick Grove School of Music in L.A., and is an award winning graduate of the Musician’s Institute of Technology of L.A. Marty has also had private study with Lou Singer, Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey and Steve Houghton. Marty’s many credits include working with Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Vince Gill, Joe Cocker, Jimmy Buffet, Coco Montoya, The Temptations, The Pointer Sisters, Bruce Willis, Johnny Rivers, Paul Butterfield, Walter Eagan, Finas Tasby, Cory Stevens, Mitch Kashmar, The Pontiacs, The Malibooz. Marty is currently working with The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP) along with founder Eddie Tuduri. TRAP is essentially an education program utilizing drums and percussion to address many basic life skills in the field of developmental disabilities. His teaching philosophy is that every student, beginning or advanced, young or old, are individuals and that both their strengths and weaknesses should be assessed and then move from there. A strong foundation is the key that opens doors to new levels of performance. The more enjoyment a student gets out of playing music, the better they become. Electra Barakos, of Greek origin, is a graduate of California State University of Northridge, from where she received her Bachelors degree in Music - Classical Vocal Performance. Graduated with Honors and is a holder of two singing awards, the Vocal Arts award and the Society of Singers award. Has starred in numerous roles of Opera Productions and is also an active performer of her own original Rock pop Band, with which they perform at all the clubs in Hollywood. Electra has been invited to sing with famous Greek singers, the band "The Sweet", the band "Harlow", appeared in several tv shows, has sung in movie soundtracks and does voice over work for several cartoon shows as well as soap operas. Has a list of performance experience and recording credits.

Her versatility, talent, knowledge, experience, and love for music, has also helped her become an excellent teacher to students of all ages. She teaches all styles of music from classical, to rock, pop, R & B, Blues, Musical Theatre, country, and international. She has successfully helped her students launch major record deals, as well as getting them admitted to some of the most prestigious schools such as NYU. She introduces her students to musicianship, music theory, performance techniques, vocal technique, developing a unique style and making each song their own, and teaches keyboard as well. As a performer, musician, and teacher Electra has a lot to offer to Rock Nation and is thrilled to share her knowledge to all the aspiring talented singers and keyboard players out there.
